Mushrooms wrapped in banana leaf

Ingredients:

250gms mushrooms sliced

1 large onion chopped

2 green chilies chopped

5-6 kokum petals

2 petals of  star anise (Optional)

3 cloves of garlic

1 banana leaf

Pinch of pepper

Salt to taste

Dry hay as required

Method:

1. Over open fire give the banana leaf slight heat so it becomes pliable enough to wrap.

2. Add all the ingredients into the banana leaf.

3. Close the leaf and secure with toothpicks.

4. Put the parcel into the tray and bake for 15 minutes (@ 150°C).

5. For the final touch add dry hay to the baking tray on top of the parcel and smoke it (Optional step).

6. Your Mushroom wrapped in banana leaf is ready.
