Since Mutton xacuti was made recently, that gave me an idea to prepare this wonderful most liked simple Goan street food.

Ros Omelette

Recipe for Xacuti :



1 egg

Finely chopped onion

Finely chopped tomato

Finely chopped chili

Salt to taste

Oil as required



1. Break the egg in a bowl

2. Add the other ingredients and beat well.

3. Add salt to taste

4. Take a frying pan, add oil and make the omelette.


5. Put the omelette in a plate and add a nice big ladle of xacuti gravy.

6. Top it up with chopped onion and a wedge / slice of lime.

7. Serve it with goan pao.
