300gms Shrimps cleaned
3 mangoes (one just ripe & two raw)
2 big onion chopped
¼ teaspoon turmeric
2 green chilies slit
½ teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
2 tablespoon grated coconut (optional)
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
** you can also add one more onion if you wish.
1. Take a kadai / wok add the oil, ginger & garlic paste, onion, turmeric, chilies, mangoes and shrimps.
2. Add 30ml water and salt to taste. Cover and cook on low flame.
3. After 8-10 minutes give it a stir ( if you are adding grated coconut this is the time)
4. Cover and cook for another 15 / 20 minutes on low flame till the mangoes are tender.
