Drumstick Bhaji

Ingredients:

2 drumsticks cleaned and cut into 2.5″ length

½ freshly grated coconut

1 chopped onion medium size

¼ tsp turmeric powder

2 pinch chili powder

70ml Water

Method:

1. Take a kadai, add oil and sauté the onion. Now add turmeric powder, chili powder and cook for 2 min.

2. Now add the drumstick and the grated coconut. Add the water and salt.

3. Cover and cook for 10 min till the water dry’s (in the middle stir the drumstick)

Check for salt as per taste

(I know of a few families that use mustard seeds and sugar)
